Pre-requisites

Course Summary

This course aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply management accounting principles in various organizational contexts. This course explores various dimensions of Management Accounting tools such as ratio analysis, funds flow statement, cash flow statement and CVP analysis.

  • 2.2: Compare financial ratios of companies within the same industry and prepare a comprehensive comparative report.
3. Computerized Ratio Modeling

Conduct extensive ratio analysis and financial health modeling using Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software.

4. Real-World Business Cases

Present students with business cases requiring management accounting techniques to solve specific challenges collaboratively (e.g., estimating costs and using CVP analysis to make strategic decisions like pricing, product mix, or discontinuing product lines).
